We were all set to open Maine's first Great Clips franchise in March 2020. Then the world changed, and everything was delayed.
Looking back, that timing turned out to be exactly what we needed.
When Maine salons finally reopened, we were ready to go on day one. We had our team trained, our systems in place, and our salon perfectly organized to handle the huge demand from customers who'd been waiting months for haircuts. That preparation gave us an incredible foundation to build on, and we've been growing stronger ever since.
We opened as one of the very first Great Clips locations in Maine, and from that first weekend, we knew we were onto something special!

20 Years in Sports Marketing Tim spent two decades in sports sponsorship and marketing, actually working with Great Clips as a client back in 2010-2012, helping with their NASCAR sponsorship. After years of building successful businesses for other companies, he wanted to create something where everyone could share in the success.
Hannah brings a creative eye from her fashion design background, understanding both the artistic side of what our stylists do and the business side of creating something beautiful and functional.

We kept coming back to Great Clips because cosmetologists have invested in their education – they're serious professionals with real skills and expertise. Plus, you can't buy a haircut on Amazon yet, and AI isn't cutting hair anytime soon!
Every single manager and assistant manager in our company started as a stylist with us. We've never hired someone from outside for a senior position. Why? Because we believe in growing our people, and we want you to see real opportunities for advancement right here

You'll see us in the salons regularly – Hannah may be at the front desk while Tim's helping wherever needed. We'll never ask you to do something we wouldn't do ourselves. When we're short-staffed, we jump in so you can focus on what you're trained to do.
